Celebrating Five

We celebrated Caden's fifth birthday today. We named him Caden and tell him that his name means "Gift" because he is a gift. And what a gift to remember various points of our lives over the past five years.

Five-years-old can be such an adventuresome time in life. So, Courtney repurposed our some moving boxes and other things from the recycling bin and created a camper for this next year's journey. She did buy silver wrapping paper and rubber cement, yet used other things around the house to create this fun gift for a fun gift of a human. Friends brought by flamingo lights to add some flair.

His older siblings and his younger cousins have also enjoyed playing in it throughout the day, which had us thinking that our journeys become more enriched when we invite others into our stories.
