Work at the Western Jurisdiction Conference

Some of our work consists of liaising with United Methodist leaders - both clergy and lay - to intoduce and to connect them with UM missionaries and UM mission projects around the world.

This week I'm attending the Western Jurisdictional Conference in Salt Lake City. This is United Methodist "speak" for the quadrennial regional meeting of United Methodists that elects episcopal leaders (aka, bishops) for the next 8-12 years.

I get to set out snacks and brochures as a way to open conversation with people around connecting with our UM missionaries.
